Fire the Vallejo Police badge benders!!

The Vallejo Police Department has been plagued with corruption, violence and misconduct for decades. In the summer of 2020, a former Vallejo police captain revealed that some Vallejo police officers participated in commemorating their fatal citizen kills with beers and backyard barbecues and the ceremonial act of bending the star tips of their police badges for each time they kill in the line of duty. The City of Vallejo initiated an investigation and then went SILENT. 

Now there’s new information that is just as, if not more, disgusting: Attorneys for the police are arguing the 150 page report detailing the practice should stay SECRET.

We are standing in solidarity with the family of Sean Monterrosa and the impacted families of the Vallejo Justice Families, the community of Vallejo to demand that Vallejo Police Chief Shawny Williams FIRE every officer involved in the badge bending murder rituals immediately. There is no excuse for keeping clearly inhumane, unethical killer cops patrolling the city.
