The San Antonio City Council is going to spend $17 million more on police this budget session. 

There has been no serious alternative, unarmed first responder proposal from most of the city council. This is unacceptable. 

1 in 4 people killed by police have a mental illness. 

Police responders aren't professionally trained to respond to mental health crises. Often an armed presence exacerbates the situation, and leads to violence. 

Tell the San Antonio City Council to invest in unarmed responders to mental health crises now!
